French Valley is located off Highway 79, east of the French Valley Airport off Auld Rd. Boudreau Pipeline is managing the installation of over 16,000 LF of sewer and domestic water pipe for the French Valley project. This project will also consist of a 30’ deep sewer lift station and a double forced main sewer line. The project design requires a 30" diameter, 62’ long horizontal bore for the 15" VCP sewer main extension. Multiple challenges arose, including an aggressive schedule, keeping access to the Southwest Justice Center while working in the street, and hard digging conditions. Hard rock necessitated the use of a rock screen, hydraulic ram and a ripper for the excavator, additional trucking and shoring and handling of broken rock. Despite these extreme conditions, Boudreau Pipeline continues to meet and exceeded expectations for HBI at French Valley.
