Boudreau Pipeline, working with the Irvine Community Development Company, is installing the utility infrastructure to extend Portola Springs road around a new housing community and back to a second intersection with Portola Parkway.  These improvements include over five miles of sewer, reclaimed water, and domestic water that will eventually feed multiple new housing developments by trade partners Brookfield Residential, KB Homes & The New Home Company.  Tight schedules, deep utilities, and a 10” domestic water line crossing nearly the entire way across Portola Parkway to feed the installation of a new pressure reducing station are some of the challenges of this project. However, through the use of multiple crews and a staffing up of manpower, the challenges are being met and the continued growth and mutual success of Boudreau’s relationship with the Irvine Ranch Water Department (IRWD) and the City of Irvine continues to thrive.
